Perform stall warning test (Note: The stall warning test requires that the AC transfer busses are powered for up to 4 minutes)

Nose wheel steering switch guard closed

Disengage Lights Test perform

Parking brake Set

CDU Preflight Procedure: Setup Nav Data, Route Page, Performance Data, Takeoff Ref Page.

Do not forget to enter the Transition Altitude on the FMC ‘PERF INIT’ page

Flight Director Switch On

Verify Takeoff Config Light and Cabin Altitude Light extinguished

Do the Initial Data and Navigation Data steps from the CDU Preflight procedure

Flight instruments check (after IRS alignment is complete)

Standby horizon Check

Standby altimeter Set

Altimeter Set

Confirm speedbrake is in the down detent

VHF comm radio Set

VHF nav radios Set for departure

Audio control panel Set

Wait for the FO to complete his own preflights and call 'Preflight Checklist'
